To provide quality education by innovating and continuously improving upon the disciplines of Management and Computer Applications through advanced methods of training, meaningful research and intimate relations with industry, business and other institutions in the country and abroad.
Objective
The main objectives of the Institute are :

Prestige Institute of Management was set up in the year 1997 by Prestige Education Society, Indore registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860. The Society was setup by Prestige Group of Industries with an objective to meet the widely felt need for globally oriented Management and Information Technology education and training for professionals. The Institute has grown to be recognised as a premier Institute for higher learning. It is a major learning center in Central India and has been Ranked among the top 1000 B-Schools in the world, Ranked 30 th among management institutions in India by Silicon India(2012 issue) and placed in A++ category among Management Institutions according to a recent survey published in Business India (Issue: November, 2012).
The Institute has approval of All India Council for Technical Education & the State Government and is affiliated to Jiwaji University, Gwalior & Rajiv Gandhi Prodhyogiki Vishwa Vidyalaya, Bhopal.
The Institute offers MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA, and B.Com programmes. Jiwaji University, Gwalior awards the degree for MBA, BBA and BCA programmes and RGPV, Bhopal awards the degree for MCA programme.
Teaching
Major focus of the Institute has been on imparting knowledge and developing skills related to Management and Information Technology. Case method of teaching is used to supplement the lectures delivered by the faculty in Management courses and hands on practice is provided to the students of Computer Application courses. The students are exposed to industry through visits, summer placements and project work.
Training and Consultancy
The Institute offers Training and Consultancy services to industrial and business units through its faculty in the areas of Production, Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, General Management and Information Technology. |
