
Hostels
The Institute provides hostel accommodation separately for boys and girls with all the necessary amenities at no profit no loss basis. The locations of hostels are safe and well connected to the main parts of the city by public transport.
Computer Lab
The Institute has the latest equipments installed in its computer lab to meet both present and future needs. The computer lab has a Local Area Network of 150 Pentium IV and Two Servers Handling Linux and Windows 2000 server platforms with various spreadsheet, Data Base Management System and Word Processor. The operating systems used are DOS 6.22, UNIX and Novell Netware. The software library includes Oracle-8 for NT, FoxPro 2.6, Quattro Pro 5.0, MS-Office 2000, Windows 3.1, Windows 2000, ANSI C++, Visual Studio 6.0, Tally 5.4 (Accounting Software) that can be accessed from any node attached to LAN. The well-equipped lab and extremely competent faculty provide thorough exposure and hands on methods of computer training. The students of MBA course are thoroughly competent to handle computer methods and packages adopted by various industries and business houses today. The students of MCA course in addition to handling computer languages and packages are competent to develop software as per the needs of the organization in Oracle, Visual Basic, C, C++, SQL server etc. Institute is also having Multi-Media and Internet connectivity of 2 Mbps. The Institute has computer facility for facilitating the work in Director's office, Administrative office, Library and Accounts.

The Institute has well-equipped and spacious library with more than ten thousand two hundred fifty books on more than two thousand five hundred titles and reports on a large variety of Management, Information Technology and allied subjects. The library remains open for 12 hours on all working days. The library has a journal section, which is being developed at par with the best institutions in the country. The Institute subscribes to 80 periodicals research journals including foreign journals. A large number of newspapers and magazines are also subscribed for use in the library. Audio Visual Section
The library has an Audio Visual Section with a large number of audiovisual cassettes and CDs.Continuous efforts are made to acquire the latest films, both Indian as well as foreign, in the area of Management and Information Technology.
Summer Training
Summer Training is an essential component of PIMG curriculum which provides practical orientation to the students. During summer training the students have to undergo rigorous training for gaining in depth knowledge and skills to understand the problems underlying the work situations and learn to workout their solutions. Every student is required to undergo generalized training in which they have to look into all the aspects regarding the functioning and running of an organization and also study and analyze the practical problems of the stream in which they are specializing. Summer training is arranged for the students of MBA II semester and BBA IV Semester students. Faculty guides help students during their summer training along with their industry guides.
Industrial Visits
Another vital ingredient of PIMG's philosophy of excellence in studies is industrial visits. Industrial visits provide an interface between educational and organizational environment and help the students in understanding the practical aspects of what they study in class rooms. The students of MBA and MCA programs visit industrial units to understand how Management concepts and IT skills are applied in real settings. This helps them acquire application oriented learning. Industrial visits are also organized for the under graduate programs.
Research Projects
MBA students carry out Major Research Projects under the guidance of experienced faculty in their respective specialization areas. MCA students join major IT organizations for a period of 6 months in their final semester to go through rigorous training and exposer to live projects and prepare software project reports. Specially assigned faculty guides help students along with their industry guides in preparing these reports.
Management Games
The Institute has been sponsoring its students to participate in Students Management Games (SMG) organized by All India Management Association (AIMA) every year since 1998. Prestige Institute of Management, Gwalior team won the Western Zone SMG Contest 2006 held at PIMR, Indore during September 2006 and were placed third in SMG Contest held at Four School of Management (New Delhi) in October 2007.The students of PIMG had won first prize in Summer Training report presentation and business quiz at pacific Institute of management, Udaipur & second prize in case folio competition held at Gitarattan International Business School in Nov. 2008.
