I am thankful to all those sections of the society who have come forward in accepting the management and information technology graduates passing out from Prestige Institute of Management, Gwalior. The Institute has grown into one of the most prominent schools of management and information technology in the country with the support of its well wishers. It is heartening to note that both, the industries and the academia, have shown appreciation of the strengths and quality of our students.
The Institute has been approaching management and information technology education with a focus towards developing graduates with a global outlook and with the necessary entrepreneurial, managerial and software development skills to succeed in a competitive world. I am proud of what we at PIMG have achieved within a span of eleven years and look at the future with optimism and confidence. As an academic community PIMG has the richness and depth more commonly found in the larger business and IT schools, yet students receive individual attention and concern typical of a smaller school. We are continuously learning and evolving with every batch of students.

Internet and user-friendly technologies have empowered a new generation of customers, who are challenging the long accepted structure of commerce that traditional organizations were accustomed to. The result is a fundamental shift from a seller-driven to a buyer-driven world and the onset of new business models. To succeed in the global market, companies will need to evaluate innovative strategies that capitalize on both the power of the Internet and the changes in consumer demands. Many companies are adopting customer-centric business models, becoming more responsive and developing deeper relationship with customers. Others, however, are leaping forward into buyer driven value networks and in the process are rewriting the rules of competition.
The onslaught of turbulent times require special breed of leaders. At PIMG, it is a transformational experience for students who will go on to be successful in the turbulent times. Our mission is to develop leaders who will provide right direction to the organizations they join as executives. PIMG students are trained to respect and care about other people and inspire trust and confidence even in uncertain times. They have professional acumen and skills to recognize opportunities, marshal resources and create innovative solutions to critical problems. They have the ability to look beyond the present, envisioning what should be the goals and objectives of the organization and how they can contribute in accomplishing them.
I wish a very successful career ahead to all the students from the passing out batches of MBA and MCA Programs and invite all prospective recruiters to include the Institute in the list of Institutions to be visited for campus placements. I am sure that our relationship based on mutually fulfilling objectives would prosper and strengthen with each interaction.

I am pleased to present before you the profile of tenth batch of budding managers and eighth batch of computer application experts from this Institute, who have gone through a rigorous program in all the spheres of management and computer applications, respectively. Our students have gone through certain stipulated hours of course work, which is at par with the students of most reputed business schools. The pedagogy used by the Institute has a right blend of regular classroom teaching, case studies, course projects, guest lectures by practitioners from industry and academia, business simulation games and seminars. MCA students take up software development projects for organizations to learn the intricacies of converting manual operations to computer assisted ones. The Institute has been able to provide the environment to acquire the innovative skills and sufficient exposure to recognize and face unexpected challenges in the dynamic business world.
We are thankful to all the organizations for offering final placements, summer placements and project work to our students in the past and are positive that our relationship will continue to grow and become more mutually fulfilling in future.
I am sure enough that our students with their knowledge and skills that they have acquired during their stay at the Institute will add value to any organization that they Join. You are kindly requested to get in touch with the Professor Incharge Training and Placement for necessary assistance in this regard.Looking forward to a positive response from your end.
