B.Com. (Hons.) is a three year undergraduate degree program modeled to provide the student with a wide range of managerial skills and building competence in a particular area. It also helps in preparing the students for the realities of the modern business world. This program acts as a stepping stone for the students who wish to continue with higher education and pursue research in their chosen field as well as more advanced course work. This program is basically designed to integrate knowledge and skills and provide a high quality education in business studies. It is an intensive program which assists to serve the needs of those who intend to work in the business houses and also start their own businesses.

The Bachelor in Commerce (Hons.) intends to prepare students for their career in Accounting profession and Banking, Financial services and Insurance (BFSI) sector. It aims to develop requisite knowledge, skills, and attitudes in them to meet the challenges of the accounting, auditing, taxation, legal and BFSI sector domains. The endeavour of the programme is to develop skills focused in accounting. The programme will focus equally on theoretical and practical aspects of the above mentioned domains, promote an attitude of life-long learning among them and preparing them as professionals. On successful completion of Three years, a degree of Bachelors in Commerce (Honours) [B.Com. (Hons.)] is awarded to the students.

  • Candidates seeking admission in B.Com(Hons.) program must have secured minimum 60% aggregate marks at 10+2 or equivalent examination in any discipline except agriculture/ arts/ home science from a recognized Education Board.

    A candidate who has appeared in 10 + 2 or other equivalent examination during current year as a regular or private candidate but whose result is yet to be declared can also apply for admission on provisional basis.

    But such a candidate must produce the certificate of passing the examination before the last date fixed for this purpose, failing which, his/her admission may be cancelled. The fee and other charges paid by him/her will not be refunded in any case..

Admissions in B.Com (Hons). programme will be carried out on the basis of merit marks.The Admissions will be carried out by the institute as per the rules and Schedule announced by the MP HIGHER EDUCATION for Minority Institution.

Merit list would be placed on the college notice board and on the website on every Monday during the admission period.

Selected students would need to deposit the tuition fee and caution money with in a week of the name appearing in the merit list.

Fee once deposited by him/her will not refunded under any circumstances.

Admission brochure can be purchased by sending a D.D of Rs 1000 in favour of Director ,Prestige Institute of Management, Gwalior , payable at Gwalior.

Application form can be downloaded, printed , filled and sent to the institute . In such cases admission form fee of Rs 1000 will be applicable. Drafts can be sent along with the completed form or cheque can be deposited at the below given bank details.
