A one-day legal awareness program was organized at Prestige Management Institute, Gwalior on March 13, 2020. It is known that the said program was sponsored by the National Commission for Women, New Delhi. The theme of the program was "Domestic violence and women's right to property".

Prestige Institute of Management has got the grant of 90,000/- from National commission for women (NCW) New Delhi to organize the event. Institute has received 45,000/- on in January 2020 and rest of the amount would be reimbursed after presentment of the relevant documents to NCW.

The Chief Guest of the program was Mr. Rituraj Singh Chauhan Secretary District Legal Services Authority Gwalior, Distinguished Guest Mrs. Suman Gurjar Additional Superintendent of Police, Gwalior East, Dr. KK Dixit Chairman, Child Welfare Committee Gwalior and Dr. Prabal Pratap Singh Head of Law Department PIMG. The distinguished guest briefed on the specifics of the Domestic Violence Act. Esteemed guests discussed in detail the various rights given to women, in which attention was paid mainly to the services provided by the police department. Also consider the need for a one stop center which can provide them facilities at one place. On this occasion Dr. SS Bhakar Director PIMG gave his views on the harmony of Article 14 of the Constitution and property rights. The Chief Convener of the program Prof. Aakash Gupta highlighted the importance of the formation of the National Commission for Women and the legal awareness program. The vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. Hariom Awasthi.

68 women working in unorganized sectors were also present in the program. On this occasion, Dr. Navita Nathani, Dr. Nandan Velankar, Prof. Ashish Yadav and more than 140 students of various law colleges of Gwalior city were present especially KRG Govt. College. Jiwaji University, Amity University. ITM University, Madhav College Gwalior.

All the students filled the feedback form of the program which is to be sent to National Commission for Women. Along with kit all participants were given the brief list of various laws related to women in India.
