Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) is a Govt. of Madhya Pradesh, Higher Education Department approved undergraduate degree program in Commerce and its duration is 3 years. The program is affiliated to Jiwaji University, Gwalior and the degrees on completion of program are awarded NAAC accredited Jiwaji University, Gwalior.

B.Com. program is considered as a precursor for CA and CS certifications. CA and CS certifications may also run parallel to B.Com. degree. The Institute provides guidance and support for completing CA and CS certifications along with their B.Com. degree.

A Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com.) has been important for entry level executive positions in industries across sectors since 1950s. The placements offered by the Industrial units belonging to all the sectors of economy to the students of B.Com. program of the institute is a testimony of the same.

In recent years a large number of Industrial units have shown their preference for undergraduate students. The program is also approved for the purpose of selection in defense forces through CDS route. B.com. Graduates are eligibl to participate in selection process for administrative positions both at central and state levels. The program is also recognized by the public sector units for selection on executive positions. The Institute has a systematic process in place for the development of the B. Corn students to make them suitable for industry. The Institute has right processes developing the personality of the students.

Semester wise Paper list

  • Candidates seeking admission in B.Com program must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any discipline except agriculture/ arts/ home science from a recognized Education Board.

    A candidate who has appeared in 10 + 2 or other equivalent examination during current year as a regular or private candidate but whose result is yet to be declared can also apply for admission on provisional basis. But such a candidate must produce the certificate of passing the examination before the last date fixed for this purpose, failing which, his/her admission may be cancelled. The fee and other charges paid by him/her will not be refunded in any case.

Admissions in B.Com. programme will be carried out on the basis of merit marks.The Admissions will be carried out by the institute as per the rules and Schedule announced by the MP HIGHER EDUCATION for Minority Institution.

Merit list would be placed on the college notice board and on the website on every Monday during the admission period.

Selected students would need to deposit the tuition fee and caution money with in a week of the name appearing in the merit list.

Fee once deposited by him/her will not refunded under any circumstances.

Admission brochure can be purchased by sending a D.D of Rs 1000 in favour of Director ,Prestige Institute of Management, Gwalior , payable at Gwalior.

Application form can be downloaded, printed , filled and sent to the institute . In such cases admission form fee of Rs 1000 will be applicable. Drafts can be sent along with the completed form or cheque can be deposited at the below given bank details.
